Pal Tier Lists

Calculated, not opinion · formulas published

Most tier lists are someone’s opinion. These are calculated: every Pal gets a 0–100 score from game data with a published formula, and the tier is decided by its rank. Open a tier list to see the formula, the cutoff scores and how many points each Pal got from each part.

How the tiers are made

1. Part scores. Each part (Attack, speed, work level…) is turned into a 0–100 score, usually the Pal’s percentile among the candidates: (Pals with a lower value + half of the ties) ÷ candidates × 100. Values where the size of the gap matters, like mount speed, use the share of the best value instead.

2. Weighted sum. Part scores are multiplied by published weights and added up. The weights are the only judgment call, and each tier list shows them.

3. Tiers by rank. S is the top 5% by score, A down to the top 20%, B to 50%, C to 80%, and D is the rest. Pals tied at a cutoff share the higher tier.

Partner skills, passives, IVs and condenser rank are not part of the score; each page lists what it leaves out.
